In short: Called to Fly helps you plan and track your path from discovery flight to airline-ready — but it isn't your official FAA logbook, and it isn't aviation, legal, or financial advice. You're responsible for verifying real requirements with the FAA and your flight school. If you're under 18, a parent or guardian needs to be involved. We protect your data, we don't sell it, and you can leave anytime.

1. What Called to Fly Is — and Isn't

Called to Fly is not:

An official record of flight time recognized by the FAA or any aviation authority
A substitute for your official pilot logbook required by 14 CFR Part 61
Aviation, legal, financial, or medical advice
A guarantee of employment, certification, or any outcome with any airline, flight school, or pathway program

Called to Fly is a self-guided journey tool: a milestone roadmap, cost tracking, a flight school directory, and — for Premium subscribers — a personal logbook with export functionality.

All hour requirements, milestone sequences, and regulatory information in the App are general guidance only. Requirements under 14 CFR Part 61 and Part 141 change and vary by circumstance. You're solely responsible for verifying current requirements with the FAA, your flight instructor, and your flight school before making training or financial decisions.

Why this matters: getting this wrong could cost a student pilot real money and real time. We'd rather be upfront about the App's limits than let anyone build a training plan on outdated or incomplete information.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Called to Fly (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

Age requirement. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are between 13 and 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf, and remains responsible for your use of the App, including any Premium subscription charges. If you are under 13, you may not create an account (see our Privacy Policy, Section 7).

3. Your Account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
You must be capable of forming a binding contract, or have a parent/guardian consent on your behalf if you are a minor.
One account per person. You may not share your account or transfer it to another person.

4. User-Generated Content

Data you enter — flight hours, costs, milestone progress, notes — belongs to you. By using the App, you grant Goshen Hub LLC a limited license to store, process, and display this data back to you, and to aggregate anonymized, de-identified data for product improvement purposes. We do not sell your individual flight data to third parties.

If you delete your account: your data is scheduled for deletion within 30 days, consistent with our Privacy Policy (Section 9). You can export your data before deleting your account using the Career Export feature.

5. Premium Subscription

Called to Fly offers a Premium tier (Logbook and Recruiter Export features) via recurring subscription, billed monthly or annually.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you keep Premium access through the period you already paid for.
If you delete your account while a subscription is active, your subscription is cancelled at the same time; you will not be charged for the next billing cycle, but no partial-period refund is issued for time already paid, except as described below.
Prices are shown at checkout. We may change Premium pricing with notice; changes apply to future billing cycles, not the one in progress.
Refunds are handled case-by-case by contacting calledtofly@goshenhubllc.com. If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, refunds are governed by their respective policies, not this section.

6. Recruiter Export Feature

The Recruiter Export feature compiles your logged data into a shareable summary. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of any data you export and share. Called to Fly does not verify, certify, or guarantee the accuracy of exported data to any third party, including airlines, recruiters, or pathway programs. Always confirm hour-verification requirements directly with the receiving organization.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Enter false or fraudulent flight data with intent to misrepresent your qualifications to a third party
Attempt to access another user's account or data
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell App content or functionality
Use the App for any unlawful purpose

8. Flight School Directory

Flight school listings are provided for informational convenience. Inclusion in the directory is not an endorsement, and Goshen Hub LLC is not responsible for the quality, safety, accuracy, or business practices of any listed school.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Goshen Hub LLC does not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that regulatory content is current or complete.

Your use of the App to guide real-world flight training and financial decisions is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Goshen Hub LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

This includes — but is not limited to — training decisions, financial losses, or career outcomes based on App content.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through Settings or by contacting us.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email before they take effect. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
